Q: How soon will I get my pictures?
A: Two weeks is the average time for your pictures to be delivered to your school after Picture Day.
Q: What if I am not happy with my pictures?
A: No problem! We have a 100% Money Back Guarantee on all our work.
If you would like to return your pictures for a full refund just email us at info@barryhayesphoto.com and we will make the arrangements from there. If you would like to keep the Class Picture please do so and we will refund you in full, less the $10 price of the Class Picture.
Check with the school to see if there is a Make-Up Day to be scheduled with us and we would be happy to re-shoot your child then.
In any event, we ask that you return the pictures you are not happy with to the school.

Q: Can you remove a scratch/rash/bruise on my child's face?
A: We can digitally retouch pictures for a small fee. On the Picture Day Order Form, order Add-On Item "Y - Basic Facial Retouch". Feel free to add your email address in the "Parent Information" section on the order form. This will help us if there is a question about what to retouch and what should not be retouched.
Q: Can I get a CD of my child's pictures?
A: Yes. On the Picture Day Order Form, order Add-On Item "Z - Images on CD".
The Image CD will contain all the images photographed of your child.
(All image CDs come with a full copyright waiver from Barry Hayes Photography.)
Q: What props do you use?
A: Stuffed toys, books, sports props such as football, soccer ball, baseball and mit, dinosaur, flowers, parasol, dolls, etc. We will carefully choose the prop to match what your child is wearing and what your child is interested in.
Unless otherwise arranged, props will be used in your child's 1st pose only.
Use the "Special Requests" section at the bottom of the order form to let the photographer know your preference.
If you do not want your child to hold the same prop as last time, please make the request on the order form.
Q: What if I don't want props?
A: Please circle 'NO' for Props on the order form. If the photographer sees this circled then props will not be used for any pose.
Q: How should I dress my child for his/her picture?
A: There is no simple answer, but neat and clean will add tremendously to a great school picture.
Check your child's face is very clean. Also check that clothes are neat and without any large stains that may show. For girl's hair use a few extra clips or whatever it takes keep it neat and in place. The photographer will make sure everything looks good before the picture is taken.
Q: Can I pay by Credit Card?
A: Yes. There is a web address given on the Picture Day order form you received from the school where you can pay by credit card.
Be sure to write in the Online Order Confirmation Number in the box provided on your order form. This number will be on your online reciept.
Q: If I choose to order 3 poses what can I expect?
A: The 1st pose is typically the child holding a prop and cropped from waist up.
The 2nd pose will be a closeup of the child.
The 3rd pose will be a personality pose. Something with a fun twist and a great smile.
Q: What is a Child Safety ID Card?
A: This card fits in your wallet or purse, has a photo of your child and a list of basic instructions to follow if your child is missing.
